Does the job, but could be better.

Mounting with X55 hotas could be better. The base of the x55 is wider than the platform so it is attached with the 3M double sided adhesive pads that come with this product and seems to be working just fine. Since the X55 does have mounting holes in each corner i would have really enjoyed securing it down with bolts instead. Adjustments are minimal and may not be to every ones liking but for me the height and placement are perfect and ergonomic for my arms. I would have to remove the throttle (easy to do, 10sec) and set it on the floor if i would like to easily get out of my cockpit though. It kind of traps me in the frame. Personally i just hop back onto my seat and step off, no big deal, but would love for it to swivel out of my path instead. Overall i would recommend to anyone who owns a hotas setup.. Shipping for this product came nicely packaged also.

Mounted the X55 Rhino Hotas setup with this kit. Came with everything I needed and some spare parts. Well worth the money and made going from fps to the Hotas about a 10 second operation.

Once again a well built product by OBUTTO. I use the CH products rudder pedals and the Flightstick and have no issues with moving my legs to work the pedals. Very pleased with the Revolution cockpit and all the accessories. I race, fly, and work in my OBUTTO. Great product.

I have to say how impressed I am with this accessory. I have it configured as a HOTAS setup with stick on the right and the throttle on the left. I can easily remove both pieces and pop on the gate shifter plate, pop on the wheel and I am racing. Simple, useful and effective. Bit pricey for what you get, but completes the Revolution setup for all types of simming. :)

Flight stick mount worked well

I found the flight stick mount to be useful. I use an x52 pro and the bases were just the right size. The only thing I think that could improve this design is some kind of quick release system for the bracket that attaches to the frame. I don't always fly but taking that off with the allen key is a pain and if I'm playing a racing game or just general computer use it would be nice to not have that bracket between my legs.

Flight stick mount is nice

I think I just got lucky, but I find that this has really improved my fun with the Obutto Ozone. As other people have said, it doesn't have any height adjustment, so if you're not the right size you're probably out of luck. But it seems to fit me just right, and it DOES make it more comfortable to use a joystick and throttle. I always preferred those to keyboard and mouse anyway, and they're a joy in the comfortable cockpit.

Not Ergonomical

It's difficult to tell by picture, but the amount of height adjustment is severely limited. At its' highest, it's just above my thighs(and I'm trim). It's impossible to use with (CH Products)rudder pedals as it obstructs your legs from moving. I had to add PVC pipe(inside the vertical tube) in order to get the necessary height. Would additionally be nice to have horizontal adjustment. With no vertical/horizontal adjustability(and the relatively small size) it's very hard to justify the $73.50(S&H) cost.

Didn't find it useful

I may have been doing it wrong or am poorly proportioned, but with my Warthog HOTAS, it did not fit well at all. I can see how it should work, and that makes it appealing, but unfortunately for me, this was a waste of money.

Flight stick mount works perfectly with TH Warthog HOTAS

Written by M Wooten on Dec 21st 2012

Pull the mounting plate off the Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS and use the pattern on the mounting plate to drill holes into the flight stick accessory. Then flip it over and counter-sink the holes and use the same screws to mount the stick to the accessory. Could only be easier if the screw holes were pre-drilled.
