Display System Options

Panoramic Display System 55”

For the ultimate realism of panoramic vision many CXC clients choose an array of three wrap-around 55” High-Denition LED-backlit LCD Displays. This 172-degree viewing angle equates almost exactly to the driver’s actual eld of vision greatly heightening the perception of speed, and enabling micrometer-precise car placement. This wide view arms the driver with the ability to see competitors alongside and to pick up apexes far earlier. This particular model television and display has been chosen for extraordinary performance. It also features smaller bezels, further blurring the lines between displays. Our display frame is designed specically to t a few dierent televisions sizes and adjusted for optimal bezel alignment. This option, combined with CXC’s unique and extensively pro-tested software settings, signicantly heightens the sense of really being in the car and in motion. The huge displays are solidly mounted on an independent sub frame with all needed hardware and cabling included in the package. Professional installation by CXC is (of course) available on request.

Advanced Dash Display System

This system adds a hyper-realistic telemetry feedback system to the dash panel directly in the driver’s line-of-sight. In addition to the standard indicator lights (Tach/Shift, Gear Position, and Warning Lights) it adds two remarkable multi-function displays with functionality like Lap Times, Split Times, Race Information, Optimal Shift Points, Tire Traction Meter, and more. The unit is fully programmable to simulate specic instruments and their needs for the driver’s attention.

Bodywork Options

Carbon Fiber and Stitched Suede Body Kit

For the ultimate in racecar look and feel here’s CXC’s beautiful and functional full carbon ber bodywork kit. Sourced from the same supplier used by top F1 teams, this popular option matches the dash face and shift paddles with 2k twill carbon ber side panels. Like the suede kit, this option won’t improve lap times. What it WILL do is integrate a CXC’s unlimited technical power with a sleek exterior that not only looks great, but that can be an additional high-impact location for sponsor recognition during shop-based interviews and media tours.

Patterned after the Ferrari Challenge Stradale dash cover, this option replaces the standard plastic sub woer cover with non-reecting ne, black suede and dark grey stitching. Like the Carbon Fiber Body Kit, this option won’t improve lap times. What it WILL do is integrate a CXC’s unlimited technical power with a sleek exterior that not only looks great, but that can be an additional high-impact location for sponsor recognition during shop-based interviews and media tours.

Control System Options

Six-Speed Gated Shifter

There are still a number of racing cars that use gated hand-shifters, CXC understands that fact, so, if paddle shifting is inappropriate CXC’s gated, lightning-fast six-speed racing shifter is available with standard-equipment racing clutch. This strong, all-steel, six-speed gated shifter is bang-shift perfect in feel with strong detents and centering springs, and a reverse lockout. For our vintage racing clients (and they are a fast-growing contingent) and NASCAR/Stock Car simulations 5th and 6th gears can be easily locked out. By the way, any shift pattern can be exactly duplicated and the shifter mechanism is available for left or right-hand mounting on the CXC Simulator.

Sequential Shifter and Hand Brake

CXC’s competition sequential shifter is another option that takes the Motion Pro II out of the toy/hobby/game realm and make it a very valuable teaching tool. Adding the hand brake to this package provides our clients with the ultimate rally driving experience. Constructed of aluminum, the CXC sequential shifter features a realistic, strong detent and centering springs and is (of course) available in left- or right-side mounting.

Seatbelt Tensioner System

Another CXC innovation, the Seatbelt Tensioner System mechanically pulls back on the driver’s harness under braking. This precisely-timed direct pressure adds the body-bending feeling of braking g-force to the experience. Fully-adjustable, again, this is the sort of product performance product that sets CXC o from all the rest. A fast 50 laps in the CXC simulator is a grueling workout for mind AND body!

Formula Wheel

For those who want or require more of a Formula-style wheel, the all-purpose 230mm GT steering wheel included with each simulator can be changed out in seconds (Quick-disconnect with an internal electrical plug) for this purpose-built 270mm Momo 27C open wheel (cut at the top, at on the bottom). Congured to look, feel and function like the $30,000 wheels used in Formula and high-level sports racers, the CXC Formula Wheel is constructed of carbon ber and aluminum and features a, F1 carbon ber clutch paddle in addition to the shift paddles, nine User-Denable Push Buttons, two User-Denable 6-Position Rotary Switches (to cycle through data), two User-Denable Potentiometers (to adjust sway bars, brake bias, weight jackers), and a 15-way View HAT (for easy menu navigation).

Vintage Wheel

This beautiful classic wheel is hand made from aircraft grade aluminum and mahogany wood with a high attention to detail and oers a larger wheel diameter, 380mm, with a true vintage thinner grip. Manufactured by Nardi, this wheel was original equipment on many 1950s and 1960's European sports cars and now can be utilized with our quick-disconnect system oering quick wheel changes to match your choice of car.

Kart Wheel

This sporty lightweight wheel is made from high-quality suede, with contoured hand grips, giving the wheel a clean look as well as long life. The wheel comes with our quick-disconnect system for easy and fast wheel changes. The thickness and shape of the Kart wheel will be familiar to any kart driver and provides an extra sense of realism to kart simulations

Combat Flight Pack

The CXC Simulations Combat Flight Pack for the Motion Pro II is the result of an intense collaboration between CXC's development teams and professional pilots. Exchanges and studies were carried out constantly throughout the product's development phase in order to create a control set and tactile feedback which meets the most specic and precise requirements of experts. The result is the Combat Flight Pack: a replica set of the joystick, dual throttle system and dual throttle control panel of the U.S. Air Force A-10C attack aircraft.

Weighing in at more than 14 lbs and using metal for the joystick, throttle handles, and bases, the joystick is physically imposing. When you take into account the 55 fully-programmable action buttons and 2 four-direction hat switches, each with a built-in push button (the rst joystick in the world to incorporate such a feature), it becomes clear that the Combat Flight Pack is unique and in a class of its own.

The joystick incorporates a quick-disconnect center control stick (for easy entry/egress) and a typical left-hand throttle, both with an excess of user-denable buttons, switches, and levers. Using only 6 bolts (and the included tool), the ight stick and throttle can be installed or uninstalled to or from any Motion Pro II Driving Simulator in a few short minutes. Made from high-quality steel and aluminum, the ight controls have been designed with usability and longevity in mind.

The Combat Flight Pack comes standard with the world-famous X-Plane software. X-Plane is the world's most comprehensive and powerful ight simulator for personal computers. With the most realistic ight model available for home users, X-Plane is not just a game--it is an engineering tool that can be (and is) used to predict the ight characteristics of nearly any aircraft with incredible accuracy. Misc Options

Race Radio Headset

Comfortable and accurate CXC-approved headphones with a built-in microphone that can be used with or, for “silent” operation, instead of the speaker system

Mobility Kit

The professional way to take the Motion Pro II out in public: a two-piece custom-t frame kit with large rotating rubber casters and inatable wheels to protect the electronics. Each assembly locks into place on the bottom of the simulator allowing easy positioning or moving by one person. Frame assemblies are constructed of steel and nished in black powdercoat. All contact points are rubber coated to protect the frame from scratches. Designed by the engineers who built the CXC in the rst place, this is kit will easily pay for itself in a short time for the client who needs to be “on the road again”.

Shipping Crate - One Way

This is our factory-designed and fabricated shipping crate suitable for secure one-way worldwide shipping via land, sea or air. Complete with specic compartments for all simulator components, including our special shock-mount base for sensitive electronics protection. The CXC ts in this protective cocoon 95% assembled. This crate is only necessary for international orders. (All domestic orders are shipped via this reusable crate which is returned to CXC Simulations after delivery).

Shipping Crate – Event Multi Use

Think of it as the CXC’s transporter, a custom-designed berglass shipping crate built for CXC by the transportation experts at Jan-Al. These super-tough cases accommodate the CXC simulator and three display screens and oer secure worldwide shipping via land, sea or air. Custom compartments hold all simulator components, and our special shock-mount base will protect sensitive electronics. Quick-release ttings and extra durability are built in to this unit ensuring multiple use. As with our one-way Shipping Crate, the simulator ts into its case 95% assembled, simplifying setup.

Event Simulator Upgrade & Repair Kit

“In the unlikely event …” Stu happens, we all know that, and we know too that victory always favors the well-prepared. This very complete kit is designed for owner peace of mind which can mean either redundancy or emergency replacement of critical simulator components. This well-thought-out package includes two actuator assemblies (2 bolts/2 plugs are all it takes to replace), two steering wheel frame adjuster tracks (again: 2 bolts to replace) and one ready-to-use hard drive that’s pre-congured and preloaded with the customer’s unique software package. No special tools or skills are necessary for these replacements, a must for professional high-usage situations where time on the Simulator is measured in wins and losses.

Lockable Simulator Cover

Keeping the CXC clean and away from unauthorized “testers”. A custom-tted black, tough ballistic nylon, water resistant cover with a ¼-inch steel draw cable and padlock points at the base. The Motion Pro II is (exactly like the race car it seeks to simulate as closely as humanly possible) NOT a toy. If a unit as attractive and interesting needs to be left out in any sort of a public situation without direct supervision this cover is NOT a luxury.

International Power Converter (IPC)

The only device approved and recommended by CXC to convert power for the Motion Pro II simulator anywhere in the world. Not a simple device like conventional power converters, the IPC is also a frequency converter. So, while it is capable of keeping up with the demands of motor racing or ight simulation, it is also protective of sensitive electronics in the simulator. The IPC can be rack mounted in an adjacent room for stealth instalations.

Advanced On-Site Setup and Training

Racing school for your simulator. Better than a real racing school, this one is conducted in your house, with your equipment and create any scenario (car, track, weather, time of day, race situation, car failure, etc.). Have a trained racing instructor come to your house to conduct a one-on-one driver school with you right on your simulator. Courses range from basic driving techniques to advanced car setup and telemetry. Learn the perfect line at a given track or the intricacies of car setup. Your imagination is the limit. Price is per day and courses are pre-arranged to match the customer's skill level and training needs.
